It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has won seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the peak baggers, are what's still available for a squad that has achieved everything.

It needed up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

What's clear is this hundred was far harder to anticipate.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 occurred when she topped the run-scoring charts, but this knock was preceded by six games in India over the past few weeks in which she had not exceeded 30 runs.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it was a challenging time because it appeared I've had no rhythm completely," said Healy.

"But once you take the field, your fighting spirit kick in and you simply focus on the competition."

Healy's fighting spirit has consistently been her great strength - and a priceless quality in replacing legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's rising star Kranti Gaud in the previous month's ODI series, fallen to the emerging pace bowler in every game, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's spark.

A single was taken off Gaud's first delivery and from that point Healy was in motion.

"An opportunity to take the field and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun in that aspect, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she attacked short-pitched balls, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

When she was removed the team needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the assurance to do that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can succeed."

That comment will be the final thing competing nations at this championship need to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will win from any position has become more firm - this triumph succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final place may probably be guaranteed.
